Sandra Baleera Memorial: - Date: 15/08/2011

The memorial was very well attended and we could say virtually all who attended are in full support of Jamaica School Resources charity. Thanks was given to Sandra Baleera the late Founder and Chair of Jamaica School Resources, Sponsors and supporting Patrons were also mentioned and their contribution well appreciated, long may it last. In all we have a total of £310 in funds from the event.

Our aim is purchase Books and Resources each month a total of £263 approx which is $35000 Jamaican Dollars. The Bookshop we purchase goods from is Kingston Bookshop based in Kingston Jamaica.

The Resources (Books & Stationery) are distributed to the Schools in great need by our partners Jamaica Ministry of Education.

Donors and Sponsors have the opportunity to select a School of their choice for resources just forward the name (s) and address in Jamaica.
